This page describes the course. You can read it without an account, and we do not ask you to sign in here or to fill in a form. Signing in happens in the learner app, which is a separate application.
What the learner app records
When you use the learner app with your own account, it keeps the name and username you chose, and it keeps which sessions and quizzes you have finished. That is what lets you close the app and pick up where you left off, and it is what the academy staff use to see how far a learner has got and to help with access.
Who can see it
Your learner record is visible to the academy's own staff, through the academy's management dashboard. The course content is not open to anyone with the link: the course app checks that you are signed in before it serves a lesson, so a visitor without a session is refused.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct a detail on your learner account, or to delete the account and the progress recorded against it. Write to us and we will action it.

This note describes what the current system does. The owner should review it, add anything their jurisdiction requires (retention periods, a records contact, supervisory authority) and remove this section before launch.
